Donation Drive
Our very first project at Bloom was the Donation Drive, launched in response to the heavy rainfall in Mumbai that left many families without shelter, clothing, and basic medical access. The floods deeply impacted communities, with countless people struggling to recover from the sudden loss of their homes and essentials.
To help, we mobilized volunteers and supporters to collect items that could bring immediate relief. We distributed clothes to people living on the streets, while also donating sanitary products and first aid supplies to The Salvation Army — an international Christian movement dedicated to charitable work, social service, and disaster relief in India and around the world.

The drive drew support from over 8 donors, each contributing generously. What began as Bloom’s very first project quickly turned into a testament to the power of community and compassion. Every contribution carried hope, reminding us that when people come together, even small efforts can make a big difference.

The Donation Drive will always hold a special place in Bloom’s journey as it laid the foundation of who we are: an NGO powered by youth, empathy, and action.
