HANDS & HEARTS

Bloom carried out Hands & Hearts in collaboration with Father Agnel Ashram, an event dedicated to empowering and engaging students from Grades 5 to 10. The day combined fun, learning, and creativity, leaving children with both joyful memories and valuable skills.
We divided the children into two groups to make the activities age-appropriate:
Grades 5–7
-
Math challenges to build confidence and logical thinking.
-
Chinese Whispers as an icebreaker to make them comfortable with the team.
-
Build-a-Story activity, where each team continued a story without knowing the previous part — encouraging imagination, adaptability, and teamwork.
-
Best Out of Waste session, where they created new items using only limited and recycled materials — promoting creativity and sustainability.

Grades 8–10
-
Debate competition to improve English fluency, etiquette, and communication skills.
-
General Knowledge sessions covering the G20 Summit and the Constitution of India, linking learning to real-world awareness.
-
Noodle Stick & Marshmallow Challenge as an icebreaker, helping them collaborate, problem-solve, and build team spirit.
The event was a wholesome and successful experience, combining play with purpose. It not only enhanced skills like communication, teamwork, and creative thinking, but also strengthened the connection between students and volunteers.
‘Hands & Hearts’ showcased Bloom’s mission at its best: youth-driven initiatives that spread joy, encourage learning, and create lasting impact in communities.
