About Bloom

Some friendships are built over coffee — ours will be built over community service.

When Shamika Modi and Reva Shroff first met as interns at ATLAS SkillTech University, they realized they shared something more than just a workspace and more than just being students at the university — they shared a deep, unshakeable passion for helping people through social service for students and community learning initiatives.

Between coffee breaks and brainstorming sessions, they found themselves discussing how things could be better — how education NGOs in India could create more impact, how communities could be more aware, how education for underprivileged children could break barriers, and how even taboo topics deserve space in the light.

The more they spoke, the more they knew this would not stay just a conversation.

Out of that shared vision, Bloom NGO was born.

Bloom NGO is not just an idea, but a youth-led NGO in India where awareness meets action — a place where people will not just be taught but truly empowered.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: To create aware, confident, and compassionate individuals who will shape a better tomorrow through education and awareness campaigns.

We will do this by:

• Hosting workshops on education, awareness, life skills, and social change for children and youth.

• Tackling taboo topics head-on — from mental health awareness to menstrual hygiene awareness.

• Offering festive-themed community development NGO events that blend cultural celebration with meaningful learning.

• Conducting extracurricular activities NGO programs such as art therapy, sports days, dance & movement workshops, nature walks, clean-up drives, DIY crafts, and cooking with cultural themes.

We believe in equipping people — especially students and children from underserved communities — with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make informed choices, break stigmas, and build more inclusive communities.

We encourage a holistic learning for kids mindset where every participant leaves more informed, empowered, and ready to act.

Our work will range from after-school programs NGO initiatives to youth empowerment NGO projects, always with one goal in mind: to make education for all a reality.

We may be starting small, but our vision is big — because awareness is the seed, and change is the bloom.
